Freelance Senior Global Internal Auditor (FMCG/ Manufacturing- Food Production)

Van een van onze relaties hebben we een interim- verzoek voor een Freelance Senior Global Internal Auditor (deels in het buiteland (EU)), starten is uiterlijk per augustus voor meerdere maanden.

Candidate will perform audits across multiple regions (Americas/ Asia-Pacific/ Europe/ Middle East and Africa) as well as global audits. 

• Conduct business process reviews so as to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over the business cycles;
• Conduct business process reviews to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of operations according to internal/ external recommended controls and processes best practices ;
• Conduct reviews to assess the accuracy of the financial statements;
• Conduct reviews to evaluate IT applications and the adequacy/efficiency of accounting, financial and operating procedures established for IT control purposes;
• Determine compliance with established company's policies and SOX;
• Prepare reports based upon audit results, audit documentation, and client responses;
• Effectively communicate audit observations via update meetings and closing conferences with management personnel. 

• Degree in Finance, Administration, Accounting and/ or in Computer Science, MIS, or other relevant field;
• Min. of 6 plus years experience in audit related role within Big-4 or global/ multinational (manufacturing/ fabrication/ production- FMCG) internal audit department preferred
• Good knowledge of risk & control frameworks (COSO/ COBIT) required;
• Accounting/ audit certification (CPA/ CIA/ RA/ RE etc.) or IT (CISA, CIA, CISM, etc.) certification preferred. 
• SOX- experience preferred;
• US GAAP/ IFRS experience preferred;
• SAP- knowledge preferred;
• Ability to think/ work analytically;
• Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management;
• Fluently English, ability to speak other languages.
