Freelance PMO & Planning Manager

We have an interim assignment available for a Freelance PMO & Release Planning Manager. Start sept or begin october. Duration until the end of June 2022. 32 hours a week. Utrecht Area.

Accountability:

Holds responsibility for the overall release 4 programme plan, tracking of programme status, and the provision of this information to the Release 4 manager. Defines and manages the governance and PMO operating model, scope control & internal programme portfolio management, defines reporting standards, manages project and programme progress reporting, risk & issue management, workshop facilitation, and external governance. Manages the internal and external dependencies across the programme including the critical path dependency plan. Additionally drives the formal Stage gate processing for the release.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall governance and methodologies for the project programme for release 4 (7 countries in scope)
• Manages and maintains the overall release plan and ensures release country teams and system integrators adhere to the agreed planning principles and timelines.
• Ensures that reporting standards are adhered to as well as the timely production of consolidated programme level reporting.
• Manages the release risk & issue process ensuring that risk & issue maintenance standards are adhered to.
• Maintains the release scope and internal programme portfolio management process to ensure release plan integrity is maintained.
• Responsible for compiling weekly release meeting and monthly Steering Committee packs
• Responsible for running the internal programme checkpoint and stage gate governance processes, highlighting areas of potential risk to the overall plan achievability, to time, cost and quality.

• Bachelor or Master degree
• Previous experience with an ERP implementation (S/4 HANA is a big plus)
• Ability to operate and move between strategic and operational level thinking.
• Excellent Google workplace skills.
• Proven track record of building effective collaborative relationships in a matrix organization model.
• Experience with large-scale business transformation programmes enabled by SAP S/4 HANA.
• Expert in developing scalable governance & methodologies building on industry best practices
